Allegations of Research Misconduct
Jurnal Pendidik Indonesia (JPI) considers credible allegations of fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate publication, unethical research conduct, manipulation of peer review, or other serious breaches affecting a submitted or published work. An allegation is assessed on evidence; it is not itself a finding of misconduct.
How to report. Send the manuscript or article title and URL, a clear description of the concern, and available supporting evidence through the official contact page. The editor records the concern, protects confidential information as appropriate, and checks whether any editor or reviewer has a conflict of interest.
Assessment and response. The editor examines the submission and review record, may request an explanation from the authors or relevant parties, and may seek advice from an uninvolved editor or institution when needed. The parties concerned are given a reasonable opportunity to respond. JPI does not promise a predetermined outcome or conduct an institutional investigation on behalf of another body.
Possible action. Depending on the evidence and publication stage, JPI may request clarification or correction, pause review, reject a manuscript, publish a correction or editorial notice, or retract an article. Decisions are recorded in the editorial system and communicated to the relevant parties. See the Publication Ethics and Publication Integrity policies.
