Publication Integrity
Jurnal Pendidik Indonesia (JPI) maintains a transparent record of editorial decisions and published work. This policy complements the Publication Ethics and Peer Review Process. Reports are assessed against available evidence and the editorial record.
Corrections after publication
Authors, readers, and other parties may report an error in a published article through the official contact page. Please provide the article title and URL, a description of the issue, and supporting evidence. The editor examines the report, seeks an explanation from the authors or relevant parties where appropriate, and decides whether a correction, editorial notice, or other action is warranted.
Changes affecting the scholarly record are disclosed with the action date and a link to the original article. Article metadata and files are updated in line with the documented decision. Substantive changes are not made silently.
Withdrawal and retraction
Authors may request withdrawal of an unpublished submission through the official contact channel, stating the submission identifier and reason. The editor checks the stage of the process, the agreement of coauthors, and any unresolved integrity concerns, then records the decision in the editorial system.
For a published article, JPI considers retraction if evidence shows that findings are unreliable or there has been a serious breach, such as duplicate publication, plagiarism, or a material ethical issue. Authors and relevant parties have an opportunity to respond. A retraction notice states the reason and the decision maker, links to the original article, and preserves its bibliographic record. Access to a file may be restricted only when necessary for legal reasons or to protect affected parties; the notice explains the restriction.
Complaints and appeals
Complaints concerning editorial procedures, conduct, or a manuscript decision may be sent via the JPI contact page. Include the manuscript number or title, reasons, and supporting documents. The journal acknowledges receipt, examines the process record, and communicates the outcome in writing. Where available, an editor uninvolved in the original decision considers an appeal; a person with a conflict of interest does not handle the case. An appeal does not guarantee reversal or erase the original record.
Digital Archiving
Published issues, articles, and galleys remain accessible through the JPI archive. Journal metadata is exposed through its OAI-PMH interface. If a link or file becomes inaccessible, report it through the contact page so the journal can investigate and restore access against the publication record. JPI will name an external preservation service here only after active participation has been verified.
Governance
This policy takes account of Permendiktisaintek No. 9 of 2026 and Kepdirjen Sains dan Teknologi No. 374/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026. It describes JPI's publication procedure and does not assert a new accreditation rank.
