Declaration Statements
For new submissions to Jurnal Pendidik Indonesia (JPI), authors must provide four accurate declarations after Acknowledgments, if any, and before References. State explicitly when AI was not used, no funding was received, or no conflict exists. Do not copy an example that does not match the work.
1. Artificial Intelligence Statement
Identify any generative AI tool that materially assisted the research or manuscript, its purpose, and the affected work. Authors remain responsible for accuracy and originality; AI cannot be an author.
Example when not used: “The authors did not use generative AI in conducting this research or preparing the manuscript.” Example when used: “The authors used [tool and version] for [specific purpose]. All output was checked by the authors, who remain responsible for the manuscript.” See the Generative AI Policy.
2. Author Contribution Statement
Describe each author’s genuine roles using the CRediT taxonomy where appropriate, such as Conceptualization, Methodology, Investigation, Formal Analysis, Data Curation, Writing – Original Draft, and Writing – Review & Editing. Assign roles only to contributors who performed them; acknowledgments may identify other assistance.
3. Funding Statement
Name each funding body and grant number and describe the funder’s role where relevant. If there was no external funding, state: “This research received no specific grant from any funding agency in the public, commercial, or not-for-profit sectors.”
4. Conflict of Interest Statement
Disclose any financial, professional, institutional, academic, or personal relationship that could be perceived as influencing the work. If none exists, state: “The authors declare no conflict of interest.” Editors may seek clarification and supporting information where needed.
