Conflict of Interest Policy

Jurnal Pendidik Indonesia (JPI) asks authors, editors, and reviewers to disclose relationships or interests that could reasonably be perceived to influence their work or judgment. A disclosed interest does not automatically prevent publication; transparent management allows an independent editorial decision.

Authors. At submission, authors disclose relevant financial support, employment, consultancy, institutional, academic, personal, or other relationships. Each manuscript includes a conflict of interest statement, including an explicit statement when none exists. Authors update the editor if a relevant interest emerges during review. See the Declaration Statements.

Editors and reviewers. An editor with a relevant interest does not handle the affected manuscript and assigns it to an uninvolved editor where available. Reviewers disclose a conflict before accepting an invitation and decline or return an assignment when independent assessment is compromised. Confidentiality still applies.

Management. The responsible editor assesses disclosures, may seek clarification, reassign a reviewer or editor, and records the handling decision in OJS. Editorial decisions are based on scholarly merit and the journal’s policies. Publication fees do not influence acceptance. Concerns can be reported through the official contact page.
